Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Ethical Policy

Where human investigations are part of the study, the research must be conducted ethically in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. The design of the work has to be approved by a local ethics committee and informed written consent must be obtained from all subjects. Documented review and approval from the Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee must be submitted along with any studies involving people, medical records and human tissues. A relevant statement of approval should be added in the ‘Subjects and Methods’ section of the manuscript.
